B-B-E school board decides on flexible schedule

Once the concept is retired in 2015, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will have utilized the four-day school week for four years since it was adopted in the fall of 2011.

At a regular school board meeting for Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Monday at the high school auditorium, the decision was made to revert back to a five-day schedule beginning in the 2015-16 school year.

For 2014-15, the district will take time to restructure the schedule, transportation issues and the added budget costs while holding to a four-day schedule for one additional year.
