ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists on Interstate 94 between St. Cloud and Collegeville should watch for slow or stopped traffic as segments of the road are reduced to a single lane beginning Monday, April 25.
No lane closures are currently scheduled on westbound I-94 Fridays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., nor on eastbound I-94 Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The closures are needed while crews construct temporary crossover lanes and complete other work as part of a 2016 project that will resurface I-94 between Highway 23 and County Road 159.
In early-May, I-94 between Highway 23 in St. Joseph and County Road 159 near Collegeville will become a single lane in each direction seven days per week, with head-to-head traffic switched to the westbound side of I-94 while the eastbound side of the road is resurfaced. More information on those closures will be issued as details become available.
