UPDATE:...Alexandria Bank Robbery

UPDATE:
Details: The Alexandria Police Department and FBI are continuing to follow up every lead regarding the US Bank robbery from 05/09/16. A suspect matching the description reportedly robbed a bank in Laramie, Wyoming on 05/11/16. We are continuing to work each lead and coordinating with our law enforcement partners through this investigation. Thank you for your participation and assistance with the continued leads we have received from the public. We encourage anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect to contact the Alexandria Police Department at 320-763-6631or the FBI at 1-800-225-5324.

Albany teens admit to arson

According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department, two Albany teenagers have admitted that they were responsible for a fire that damaged the Schwinghammer Lake bridge, east of Albany, along the Lake Wobegon Trail on April 30.

Investigators interviewed a 14-year-old male and a 16-year-old male in reference to the arson fire on the bridge. Both juveniles admitted that they were responsible. They were released to the custody of their parents. The case will be forwarded to the Stearns County Attorney’s Office for review of charges.
