Ervin R. Dettler
Ervin R. “Erv” Dettler, age 80, of Melrose, died peacefully on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Melrose with Rev. David Mommens officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Melrose.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Melrose and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Pearl E. Zutter
Pearl E. Zutter, age 90 of Sauk Centre, died Dec. 31, 2015 at CentraCare Health Center.
Pearl was born in Birchdale Township, Todd County, on Sept. 15, 1925, to Stanley and Elsie Gardner. She attended Sauk Centre Public School. After graduation in 1943, she was employed in Minneapolis. She married Artie Zutter on Sept. 27, 1944. After Artie’s discharge from service, they lived in Grey Eagle until 1958 at which time they moved to Sauk Centre.
Pearl was a member of First United Church. She was a church organist most of her adult life. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Pearl is survived by daughter Shirley; three grandchildren, Lisa, Paul and Christian; two great-grandchildren, Cole and Jordan; and two brothers, Eugene and Jim.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Artie, parents, three sisters and one brother.
A memorial service and interment will be private and held at a later date.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, 1900 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, Minn., 56303 for Mark A. Larson, 33, of Fargo, N.D. who passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 2. Rev. Chris Smith will officiate and burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Vega Cemetery in Warren, Minn. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Phyllis B. Messer
Phyllis B. Messer, age 72 of Sauk Centre, was reunited with her soulmate, Jerome on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, following a courageous and hard-fought fight with brain cancer. Phyllis was being lovingly cared for by the staff at CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre with her children at her side as she made the transition to heaven.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Father Tim Wenzel presiding. Interment was at the St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Sauk Centre.

Leona R. Bromenshenkel, age 92 of Sauk Centre died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at the CentraCare Health Pine Haven Nursing Home in Melrose.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Father Greg Paffel presiding. Interment was at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
Leona Regine Minette was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Sauk Centre, the daughter of George and Mary (Zenzius) Minette. Leona grew up in Sauk Centre and graduated from Sauk Centre High School. She was united in marriage to Leonard H. Bromenshenkel on Sept. 19, 1944, in St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Together, Leonard and Leona farmed outside of Sauk Centre and later moved into town in 1994.

Lifelong Sauk Centre resident, Adeline Regine Wolbeck, age 84, was reunited with the love of her life, her late husband, Christian, on Christmas morning, 2015.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Dec. 29 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Greg Paffel officiating. Interment was at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Sauk Centre.

Junkin
Walter “Walt” Junkin, age 82 of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2015, following a long battle with heart and kidney failure at the CentraCare Health Nursing Home in Sauk Centre.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. A family entombment service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, N.D.
Walter Edward Junkin was born on Aug. 31, 1933, to Floyd Junkin and Adeline Junkin (nee Howley). He spent his entire childhood in Fargo. During his adolescence, Walter developed a passion for photography and music. His first professional photograph was taken in 9th grade. He also developed into a fine jazz trumpet player, touring with the Bob Calamese band, out of Nebraska, at age 17. He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts.

Charles C. Stalberger, 71 of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 1, 2015. A funeral Mass was held Dec. 5 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 Cty Rd. 24, Medina.
Charles C. Stalberger was born April 8, 1944, in Belgrade, to parents Edwin and Laura Scholz Stalberger. He attended schools in Belgrade and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1962. He worked with his father and eventually owned Stalberger Electric. He married Geraldine Nyberg on Dec. 10, 1982, in Maple Grove. They resided in Plymouth, where he worked at Budget Power and at Morrie’s Ford.
Charles is survived by his loving family: wife Gerri and daughter Janine (Karl) of Plymouth; brothers-in-law and sisters-in law Ken and Joyce Nyberg of Buffalo; Jeanette and Steve Kenney, Loretto; Marlene and Rick Thomas of Buffalo.
He was preceded in death by parents Edwin and Laura Stalberger and brother and sister-in-law Roger and Kathy Stalberger.
