Online Edition

  • When is the paper posted online?
    The online version of the Herald is posted every Wednesday afternoon.
  • Can I subscribe to the paper online?
    Yes. Click on the "Print Subscription" link on the home page and follow the online directions.
  • Is everything in the print version of the paper online as well?
    The E-edition is an exact replica of the printed version of the Herald. Print subscribers get the E-edition at no charge and it is available "Online Only" for just $25 per year.
  • Can I request a copy of a photo or article that has been printed in the Herald?
    If the article was also published online, you will be able to find it for up to 60 days by going to the "Archives" link and using the "Search" feature. We keep hard copies of the Shopper, Canary and Herald for 1 year at the Sauk Herald office. You can purchase a copy for $1.00
  • Do you have an archive of old papers available online for research?
    Currently, our paper is archived online via the E-edition for at least 30 days. You can access those archives by doing a "Site Search" located in the right hand side navagation on the Herald home page. Or use the "Advanced Search" feature for a more specific search.
  • Can I view a classified ad that ran last week or earlier?
    Using the E-edition will allow you to search for classifieds that have been published in the past 30 days.

You can also subscribe online! Just fill out the easy to use online form and your subcription will be processed immediately.

OTHER PRINT SERVICES:

Copies: We have both black and White and Color Copy Services Available in 8.5x11" and 11x17" sizes and can reproduce copies on White, Pastel or Astrobright Paper in a variety of weights. Single and Double Sided copies are available. Please call us for details and prices.

SPECIAL CONCERNS

Birthday ads in the Herald may include a photo that must be submitted to the Herald along with the copy by the deadline. Normal box ad rates apply.
Card of Thanks - $10.00 for the first 50 words plus 10 cents for each additional word.
Social Announcements: (Birth/Anniversary) - First Insertion is FREE. Second insertion $15/per paper.
Obituaries/Tributes - $50 for handwritten or if we need to re-type (per paper) $30 emailed/CD/includes funeral homes (per paper) $5 Funeral Home logo in ad (per paper). Add color $60. Obituaries-notice only - N/C 50 word maximum (over 50 words, normal charges apply).

Garage Sale - ads typically published in the Shopper grouped together with other similar garage sale ads with a common heading. The size of the ads run 1 column by 2-1/2" and the cost is $15.00/Shopper or paid paper, $10 for each additional paper. Customers get 2 free Garage Sale signs that can be picked up at the Herald office. (Extra signs are just 25 cents each) Garage Sale ads are also posted online at no additional charge!
