Deborah A. “Bubbles” Bromenshenkel, age 63, of Sauk Centre, passed away after a life-long battle with chronic diabetes Nov. 24, 2024, at her home in Sauk Centre.
A prayer service was Dec. 3 at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Interment was at the St. Paul’s Cemetery in Sauk Centre.
Visitation was Tuesday at the funeral home.
Deborah Ann Bromenshenkel was born Aug. 9, 1961, in Sauk Centre to Leonard H. and Leona (Minette) Bromenshenkel. She graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1980. Bubbles managed Mayers Mobil in Hamel, worked for Farmers State Bank of Hamel and worked at the Sauk Centre Armory. She enjoyed spending time at her land near Leader, where she liked to go four-wheeling. Bubbles loved to clean and had a soft spot in her heart for dogs.
Survivors include her significant other, Jim Deters of Sauk Centre; siblings, Darlene Rousslang of Sauk Centre, Karen (Rich) Dirkes of Sauk Centre, Mary (Butch) Moritz of Sauk Centre, Jan Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre, Wayne (Pat) Bromenshenkel of Sauk Centre, Anita (Bill) Berg of Sauk Centre, and Randy (Kim) Bromenshenkel of Albany; sisters-in-law, Linda Bromenshenkel and Deb Behlings; and many nieces and nephews.
Bubbles was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard H. Bromenshenkel on Dec. 14, 2009, and Leona Bromenshenkel on Dec. 29, 2015; brothers, Joseph Bromenshenkel on Oct. 14, 1981, Donald Bromenshenkel on Nov. 6, 2012, and Jack Bromenshenkel on Nov. 6, 2023; brothers-in-law, Jim Sundermann on Dec. 2, 1996 and Richard “Dick” Rousslang on April 2, 2020; and sister-in-law, Pat Bromenshenkel on Oct. 4, 2021.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral and Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
