Rita M. (Burgess) Cokely, age 74, of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family Oct. 11, 2024, at Cura Care Center in Sauk Centre.
A Celebration of Life will be 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at the American Legion in Sauk Centre.
Rita Haskamp was born Oct. 8, 1950, in Sauk Centre to Raymond and Bertha (Kunstleben) Haskamp. On Nov. 29, 2005, she married David Cokely in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rita enjoyed sewing, crafts, jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Chuck (Cindy) Burgess of Sauk Centre, Todd (Deb) Burgess of Carlos, and Cale (Jessie) Burgess of Sauk Centre; grandchildren, Kevin, Will, Tyler, Alexis and Hudson Burgess; brothers, Ron (Jan) Haskamp of Melrose and Rick (Diane) Haskamp of Sauk Centre.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, David Cokely; parents, Raymond and Bertha Haskamp; brother, Roger Haskamp; sister-in-law, Pauline Haskamp; and niece, Tina Haskamp.
Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
